Vincenzo Montefusco was born in 1989 in Brescia, Italy. He graduated from the Polytechnic University of Brescia as Engineer in 2014.

Between 2012 and 2020 he lived in Paris, Stuttgart and Milan, where he worked for international design firms in the field of digital design and data visualization, before starting his art career in 2019.

Propelled by his experience in computational engineering and information design, Vincenzo Montefusco focuses on contemporary society by observing it through the lens of numbers and transforming quantitative measurements into artistic performances.

Inspired by the great amount of gathered data about human activity available today, he presents us with urgent reflections about our times, exploring more visceral ways of visualizing it.

He lives in Lisbon since 2020.
